This COPS Innovations piece highlights how agencies can strengthen their response to terrorism by improving data and intelligence collection and processing, capitalizing on technological advances, and communicating with other public safety agencies. It also includes examples of three agencies using COPS-funded 311 systems to address terrorism: Austin Police Department, TX; Baltimore Police Department, MD; and Rochester City Police Department, NY.
