DEFINITION: The Federal Financial Reports (SF-425) is a required report for all COPS grantees that is completed and submitted to the COPS Office on a quarterly basis and no later than 30 days after the last day of each reporting quarter. This report requests information on the cumulative actual federal monies and unliquidated obligations incurred, local matching contributions, and the unobligated balance of federal funds.
COMPLIANCE: The COPS Office monitors the timely and accurate submission of Federal Financial Reports (SF-425) and will assist in completing much of the standard information; however, the grantee must provide specific financial information. Payments to grantees are delayed if the most current Federal Financial Report (SF-425) has not been submitted at the time of the payment request.
