Center for Problem-Oriented Policing
The Center for Problem-Oriented Policing (POP Center) is a non-profit
organization funded by the COPS Office to advance problem-oriented policing. It
does this by offering information about ways in which police can more
effectively address specific crime and disorder problems.
COPS in Schools
This Web site provides information about the purpose of the COPS in Schools (CIS)
grantee training, answer the questions about who should attend the training and
logistical arrangements, and allow participants to register for the training on
line.
Reports from the Field
Reports from the Field describes the promising practices of COPS grantees in all
grant programs. It is an excellent resource for those wanting to learn more

The Law Enforcement Information Technology Standards Council (LEITSC) is a U.S.
Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs funded program whose mission

MethResources.gov, is a tool for policymakers, law enforcement officials,
treatment and prevention professionals, businesses and retailers, and anti-drug
activists. The comprehensive site brings together information and resources
available to communities on the topic of methamphetamine.
National Criminal Justice Reference Service
(NCJRS)
The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) is a clearinghouse for
criminal justice related information. NCJRS is a federally funded resource
offering justice and substance abuse information to support research, policy,
and program development worldwide. NCJRS provides extensive reference and
referral services regarding crime and justice-related research, policy and
practice, an information network via e-mail notifications and mailings, and
access to thousands of published federal government reports.
National Law Enforcement and
Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC)
The National Law Enforcement Corrections and Technology Center (NLECTC) is
funded by the Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice and serves
as an "honest broker" offering support, research findings, and
technological expertise to help State and local law enforcement and corrections
personnel perform their duties more safely and efficiently.
President’s DNA Initiative
The President’s DNA Initiative provides funding, training, and assistance to
ensure that forensic DNA reaches its full potential to solve crimes, protect the
innocent, and identify missing persons.
Racial Profiling Data
Collection Resource Center
The U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance has funded the
development of a Web-based tool to assist law enforcement agencies, government
officials, community leaders and others in their efforts to minimize
inappropriate racial profiling. This web site developed in cooperation with
Northeastern University, offers a wide variety of information on racial
profiling including, legislation and case law, reporting and analysis, planning
and training and a resource library.

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) serves as an interagency law
enforcement training organization for over 80 federal agencies (a.k.a. Partner
Organizations). The center also provides services to state, local, and
international law enforcement agencies.
USA.gov
USA.gov is the U.S. government's official web portal. It offers a wide range of
online information, services, and resources. USA.gov is the catalyst for a
growing electronic government, and connects the world to all U.S. government
information and services. It allows users to search more than 51 million web
pages from federal and state governments, the District of Columbia, and U.S.
territories. Most of these pages are not available on commercial websites.
Counter-terrorism Training
This portal website serves as a single point of access to counter-terrorism
training opportunities and related materials available across the federal
government and from private and nonprofit organizations. These resources will
help every law enforcement decision-maker develop strategic plans for
professional training and local emergency response.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security
(DHS)
The National Strategy for Homeland Security and the Homeland Security Act of
2002 established the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide the
unifying core for the vast national network of organizations and institutions
involved in efforts to secure our nation. Homeland security leverages resources
within Federal, state, and local governments, coordinating the transition of
multiple agencies and programs into a single, integrated agency focused on
protecting the American people and their homeland.

United States. This site contains information on all issues related to the
office of the President including proclamations, executive orders, transcripts
of press briefing, and other major news pieces associated with the office.
Office of National Drug
Control Policy (ONDCP)
The principal purpose of the Office of National Drug
Control Policy (ONDCP) is to establish policies, priorities, and objectives for
the Nation's drug control program. The goals of the program are to reduce
illicit drug use, manufacturing, and trafficking, drug-related crime and
violence, and drug-related health consequences. The director of ONDCP is charged
with producing the National Drug Control Strategy. The strategy directs the
nation's anti-drug efforts and establishes a program, a budget, and guidelines
for cooperation among federal, state, and local entities.

Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Victims
For over a decade, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) has collaborated with the Office for Victims of Crime at the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, to facilitate law enforcement’s ability to effectively address the needs of crime victims. One of the key milestones of this collaboration is the 21st Century Strategy for Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Victims which consists of four interconnected volumes: the Strategy, the Implementation Guide, the Resource Toolkit, and the Training Supplemental. All of these and a number of other victim-related materials and publications are now available at www.responsetovictims.org, a comprehensive Web site that serves as a unique law enforcement resource center for enhanced victim response.

International Association of Chiefs of
Police (IACP)
The International Association of Chiefs of Police is the

The International
Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) is

SEARCH, the National Consortium for Justice and Information Statistics is a
nonprofit provider of law enforcement technology resources that draws its
