Criminal Intelligence Training Master Calendar This calendar is designed to provide state, local, tribal, and federal law enforcement with a single point of access to federally sponsored intelligence training programs that meet the Minimum Criminal Intelligence Training Standards. The calendar is an initiative of the Intelligence Training Coordination Working Group and the Counter-Terrorism Training Coordination Working Group and was developed with funding support from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance.
Secure Communities Briefings for State and Local Law Enforcement The Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have produced a series of training/awareness briefings about Secure Communities designed primarily for use by front line state and local law enforcement agency personnel during daily muster/roll call briefings. Videos, fact sheets, and additional supplemental material provide actionable information to state and local law enforcement about the civil rights and civil liberties issues that may arise when ICE uses a federal information sharing capability through Secure Communities in their jurisdictions. The materials are designed for two distinct audiences – front line officers and law enforcement leadership.
